My pituitary gland was also destroyed by a large tumor. They were both removed last January. I'm still trying to figure out what I'm deficient in and what I'm not. The endocrimologist I saw in July doesn't act like a pituitary specialist. I believe I'll need a second opinion, especially on the growth hormone. I see lavlav has informed you about the Pituitary Network Association. I subscribe to their site but haven't seen any posts about anyone without a pituitary gland. We appear to be a small group that needs to compare notes. Take care.  Dan

I had mine removed due to a tumor, and I too must take medicenes. Hormone replacements, and mood pills. Lovely eh? I agree with LAVLAV, I got alot of info from that site, but there are alot of fools there too.
