How do we know if our peanuts are ready to pick?
Your direction, not your intention, determines your destination
It depends on where you live.If the vines have turned yellow, or brown, pull one up out of the ground.Look for the shells to be full of peanuts, if they are tiny they probably need to stay in the ground a while longer.I love them boiled.
Watch your peanut plants about four or five months after planting. It typically takes this long for the plants to mature. When the leaves begin to turn yellow it is nearly time to harvest them.
