how are pack years related to physiotherapy? pls help physio student

As far as I know pack years is the calculation of how many packs one smoked per day for how many years and is used more when dealing with pulmonary disease rather than physiotherapy. Perhaps when dealing with chest pain the issue of pack years comes into play since smoking can be a cause of such pain.
