A:Your behavior was deplorable, but no one should suffer abuse. Get out of this relationship before he kills you. Get counseling. Staying together for the child is very harming to the child's developing personality. I suffered an abusive marriage starting in 1964 when there were no shelters or help like there is now. Avail yourself of these services. p.s. After staying single for 11 years, I have now been happily married for 32 years!
