I have a beautiful digital panorama picture from my trip to New Zealand, and I would really like to put it on my wall in a big size (app. 60X90).

I discovered there is a lot of options for that, such as Canvas printing, board printing, poster and the traditional picture framing.

I don't like the Canvas option since I have other real oil painings canvas streched, and it seems to me like a disrespectful fake. 

The traditional picture framing behind glass has the known problem of reflections on the glass (and the anti reflictive glass takes a bit from the picture). 

 Sorry for being picky, I have a picture-framing hobby, so i'm a bit sensitive about this stuff.

So what would you reckon is the best way to frame a beautiful picture on the wall?

Sorry, but I misspelled it, It's Kapa with only one P.

Anyways, kapa is a Foamed, lightweight, sticky board. There is special machine designated for attaching virtually any kind of paper to the board. Because of its sticky feature there is a problem with leaving margins on the sides, But it gives a nice effect of "thickness" as you can choose 5 or 10mm board. 

I once heard that there are Non-sticky Kapas, which in that case gives you the options of leaving margins, but haven't came across such board yet.

I believe that you can solve the reflections issue by using matte glass.

Personally I just love Kappa boards, especially for photos. It's cheap, simple and clean design and looks great when hanged on the wall.

Try a print onto real photographic paper rather than inkjet for increased contrast, brilliance and a longer life. The names to look for are Lambda, Lightjet and Chromera for the size that you wish to print at. You can either go to a local agency (You can try Bromide in Tel Aviv or Ofek in Netanya) or try an online service such as qoop.com (my preferred chioce). Make sure that you have enough resolution to print at this size. For a 90cm wide print you will need at least 5300 pixels across but preferably 10600 for a sharp picture. Thats a lot of pixels.

Matte or semi matte paper will take care of unwnated reflections however many people prefer gloss and put up with the reflections because of a slight percieved increase in contrast and sharpness. 

I like to mount the photograph onto a material such as archival foamcore/kappa and leave the front uncovered. Theres a place in Lincoln street in tel aviv who mounts onto Kapa really nicely and a whole bunch of people who do a horrible job. If you want sand and bits of faluffal stuck under your beautiful photography, go to Raster in tel aviv.

I would stay away from framing, one the weight, two the cost of  oversize, glass is not something to use on this size which takes you to a plexi glass that comes in a standard  48 x 60 and anything over that is a special order and cost even more.  I agree on a high quallity of printing on a photo paper. Also try a gator board not foamboard it is still light wieght but does  bow like foam. Problem is it also comes in 48 x 60 It also come in 1in. thickness which is nice to flaot on a wall. colors are black and white. you would also need to mount it in an oversize mounting machine.
