What kind of phone can I purchase that cellularsouth will activate that I do not have to purchase directly from Cellular South?

I am searching for a cell phone that is used or refurbished and that CellularSouth will not have a problem activating. The used phones that they offer are not any I would be intrested in spending my money on. What kind of phone can I purchase and from where that CellularSouth will activate that doesen't come directly from them? Thanks,

Desperate for an Answer

I need a phone that Cellular South will activate to replace my current phone because it will no longer charge and my contract is only 6months old the insurance is asking for $100.00 to replace it and I would rather get a better phone for less. Can anyone help me?

I'm not sure about your dilemma, but I've been a customer of CellularSouth since 1995. I've NEVER had a problem with them. I've done the Cingular, and the AT&T cell service--they were CRAP!!!! Cell South is the best as far as I'm concerned, you couldn't find a better cell phone company. Good luck, hope your problem is solved soon.
