Take the orchid out of the pot and check the roots. They should be white or green.  It sounds like it is overwatered.  If the roots look okay, trim any brown dead ones and repot in fresh medium.  You failed to mention what type of orchid this is, so that limits my suggestions.  good luck

Never argue with an idiot, you can't reason with them.

If the leaves are turning yellow, it may be getting too much sun.

Orchid blooms do fall off after weeks or even months.  Most flowers do; daylily blooms last just one day.  Please give more details -- general family of orchids, whether leaves grow out of a fat bulb or directly out of the medium.  (look online for pictures to help you identify it).

Meanwhile, make sure you are getting drainage when you water and let it dry out between waterings (don't water every day or let the pot sit in water), and give it some light.  Notice,  I haven't mentioned fertilizer -- since I don't know what your plant is.

Get back to us with a few particulars, and someone will surely answer.  Good luck.  Laughing
