How do pet food companies like Hartz Mountain get away with listing several country's of orgin on thier products so you do not know specifically where the product was made.

I don't know, but it seems you should be able to buy a pet food product made in your country from ingredients grown in your country.  Or make it yourself.  If someone can prepare food for their family, why can't they prepare food for their pets?  It's not like animals complain about the food like kids do.

I would say a tidbit from here, a tidbit from there; anything that is used in the making of the food and who quotes the lowest bid all have a say in it. Better known as nafta & our goverment made up of politians more interested in their pockets than the people, oh sorry, should be constituents. Means the same, doesn't look the same.
