my dog picks a room and pees in it. I never catch her though.I remove carpet and she finds a new spot. She also goes outside. She also is like a mouse and has to chew holes in material. Just little holes.
Having grown up in a house full of dogs, I have seen this type of behavior quite often. There is a chance that your dog is experiencing some sort of separation anxiety. This usually happens once a pet is left alone for any period of time. Keep in mind, even if you are just leaving for a quick trip down the road, your dog has no idea how long you will be gone for. She may just be trying to reach out to you.
Always know what you want.
Have you tried training her on wee wee pads and getting her some chew toys? They always have good deals at petsmart.com for all your pet needs.
You never know until you try.
is she a puppy? has she been housetrained?
take you pupy or dog out side and when she dose pee give her one treat if the dog dose both give it tow treat. that help my dog so much.i know it will help you pupy or dog.
like the lady said separation anxiety make sure you tell your dog you will ba back soon before you leave. and take it out before you leave so it can use the bathroom, give it a toy before you walk out the door!
sorry i cant help, but i do want to try the treat one with my 1 year old . thanks
If their were other animals living in the house before you ,and they went to the bathroom there your pet will also use the same place for a bathroom. You will have to replace the whole floor.
take a news paper, roll it up into a stick. when she has peed again or chewed small holes in material, you take her head and press it in the pee or on the hole while hitting her on the head. the newspaper must not be so thick that it will really hurt her, but thick enough to scare her. i got my dog to pee outside and not in the house in less than a week
