Oh brother! Another frivolous lawsuit in America? Surely not! It's a snake. Why were you trying to pick it up? Why is it at your POE uncaged? Granted it should have been caged but I am assuming that since you work, you must be an adult and as an adult you must know that snakes bite! So, if you had avoided interfering with it, you would not have been bitten. The only thing I can see that you have coming to you is any out of pocket expense to see a doctor or for the ER. You should ask the company to pay for that. And in my opinion, that is wrong because you attempted to pick the snake up and could have avoided this whole matter simply by leaving it alone. Other than that take it as a lesson learned. Don't play with snakes!
