Hi Pearl620. This is such an interesting question. I lived alone as a bachelorette for 10 glorious years and loved it! Loved myself, loved my life, my house, and my freedom, loved God, Everything! I just couldn't seem to 'conform' to our Married w/ 2.3 children society. I changed my lifestyle because I actually did 'unexpectedly' fall inlove with someone when I was 40 years old!.. Believe me, sometimes true love sneeks up on you when you least expect it!.. but the confirmed bachelorette or bachelor lifestyle can be a WONDERFUL thing, as long as you know who you are, that it's a healthy 'choice' you know you're making for yourself.. you're a good person, a good friend, and you love yourself! Love your life! Yea, I think there are a lot of people who are happy not 'conforming' to everybody elses expectations! Be yourself! Be happy!
I also have to add this.. It's sort of my own theory! I have a very close relationship with God, and always have. (Maybe you do too)! So I wonder if certain types of people who really have God active in their lives, already feel, and have all the love they need,.. so looking for all kinds of love and affection from 'people' just really isn't nessesary?... Like that void so many of us are scrambling to fill is already filled to the brim! (That's the only way I can discribe that contentment)! Till next time...
