Will I get my period soon?

First of all, I'm not anxious for my period and I am not wanting it to come, I just want to be prepared.

I have had breasts growing for about the past 2 years. Probably a size 34A.
Ive had pubic hair for almost 2 years, and a bunch of it.
I have some armpt hair.
I'm almost as tall as my mom. I think 5'2' to 5'4"
I get alot of this clear goopy stuff, been getting it for a few months to a year now.
I'm 14 years old, by the way.
Oh, my mom ot her period in her late 13s, so... I know that she has a heavy flow, but I'm pretty small-framed.

Do you think I will get it soon?

I'll search, while you Cool wait.

My period did not arrive until I was 15.  I suggest that you keep waiting, because when it starts, it will take almost half of your lifetime before it ends.  Just keep a box of pads or tampons near-by.  One morning, when you are bathing, you will begin to clean your vaginal area and will notice blood.  It frightened me!  I now can laugh, but although I was taught to expect it -- it was not what I expected.  I thought I stratched myself or cut myself during the night.   My cloth was brown, so when you view the start of a menestration on a brown cloth, it makes matters worse by looking at it.  Hey, in the days to come, begin using light colored wash cloths.  You will be sure to see it when it comes, and when it does, it will surprise you into womanhood.

23 thumbs up

You're still pretty young, so it's not guaranteed that you will get it within the next few months. There are girls who only get their period at 18 and they're still able to become mothers later, so try not to be disappointed.

This may not be the most "honest" advice, but it's nobody's business if you did get your period or not, so you can allow girls in your class to assume that you did and simply not discuss the issue with them. It's hardly a social topic...
