This happened to me with my fifth pregnancy. I contacted the doctor who prescribed meds and I took it easy and stayed in bed for a couple of days. The bleeding cleared and the pregnancy developed normally - well quite normally as I ended up with placenta praevia but I doubt that had anything to do with that early bleed. It does happen to some people.
