If she had unprotected sex at anytime of the month, including during her period, then she can get pregnant.
A woman can get pregnant at any time, which includes the time of menstruation or period. Pregnancy is least likely to happen when a woman is menstruating, but it is still possible.
If her period is late next month, then she should take a home pregnancy test.
