7 thumbs up

Criminologists claim that there isn't a perfect crime because human beings have not only brain but also conscience. It's true that psychopaths can act with not a bit of harm toward their victims, but most people have a conscience, and the worse their crime  the more their subconscious is willing to be caught. Criminologists say that it's true that murderers tend to revisit the location of their crime or their victim's grave.

MyDesert, MyLife: Pastor Jesse Sanchez

Jesse Sanchez, 33, is the pastor of Living Word of the Desert church in Indio. At age 14 he started the Brownstown gang in the Dos Palmas area in Desert Hot Springs. When Sanchez was 17 he was in prison for attempted murder. There he met the chaplain who gave him a chance to turn his life around. When he attended the prison service for the first time he saw a 16 year-old inmate preaching the word, which made him realized maybe he could actually change his lifestyle. When Sanchez was out of prison he started his own church congregation and preached to people from his home. He had a following who came to him after hearing about his change of heart. Community members who knew him as the gang banger "Zombie" soon came to his congregation, some out of curiosity and some out of inspiration to witness how he has changed. He says, "If the devil used me to start a gang, then god used me to start a church." He regrets starting a gang that is still active, but spends his life trying to live by example and show others that life outside of the gang is possible.
