Why do so many people think Zionism is a provocation meaning bigotted hatred against non-Jews?

What do you think makes so many people who say they know and like Jewish people and stand for equal rights amongst all people anywhere in the world, take offense at and/or attack (in any way - verbal degradation to physical violence) Zionism?

What makes it acceptable for other religious groups who also have unique cultures and politic/religious national ties to their religious/political countries without being hated for either their religious practises or their culture (ie - Italian Catholics who are connected to both the cultural and religious voice of the Pope and Rome) but, not considered ok for Jewish culture and religion within or outside of Israel, to have equal international abscence of violence?

What makes people who express peaceful intentions, single out Jews and Israel as either a religion or nation (or both) as the obstacle to peace, have extreme reactions to Zionism, which is simply support for the survival of Israel, both politically and culturally, in peace and be offended by this but, take no offense to truly brutal regimes that want to 'convert' the entire world to submission to their culture of primative, bigoted murder, lack of human rights and manipulative destruction of freedoms found in Israel and Western democracies?

Do you think anti-semitism/anti-Zionism contributes to and/or is the cause of difficulties to free nations and as it escalates throughout the world, do you think Israel will survive or continue to concede land, ideals and religious principles to a primative, bigoted hatred that hates all life and educates their children to, in particular, blame Jews and Israel for their ongoing need to murder all people who don't believe in murder in either a religious and/or political context?

Why do so many people think Zionism is a provocation meaning bigotted hatred against non-Jews and take offense to the point of outward threats and/or physical attacks against both Jews and the nation of Israel or ignore the bigotry of their actions to support violence against Jews and Israel by this minority's real enemies?

Love is the battery of life....

Long question short answer:  Simply because they are ignorent and don't know what zionism stands for (or hate Jews so much that they don't even wish to know what it is).  Zionism has NOTHING to do with non-jews !.

Thanks, Oron, for simplifying my (too?) long question.

I have read that Herzl was offered Uganda(?) but, our ties to home are stronger than anywhere else.

I've just been sad that the media seems to be reporting Netanyahu is even considering caving on the settlements. Historically, after that, the enemies of Israel demand more, then more then murder and bomb, etc., etc., and it doesn't stop!

As soon as you talk about it, you're a "Zionist Pig", a "Racist Zionist Pig" or a "Nazi-Zionist Pig".  For  our "cousins"(who can do no wrong, btw), who also don't eat pork, they sure talk about it alot!

Makes no sense!

Your post does. Thank-you.

Keep safe.
