What people should search when looking for a partner

I agree that we should all look for someone who we can be friends with. After all, looks fade and it is important to find someone with whom you can share your life with and stick with through thick and thin. However, the initial attraction is important. In order to share your life with someone I think it is essential to have a certain level of passion for one another. Perhaps I am a bit of an idealist, but I still think that you can have the best of both worlds.

first,there has to be communication!having the same interests helps too!also,the same religion helps too!i mean if you are a different religion in can cause rifts and let's say you like animals and she doesn't it's going to be hard to never,say,have a dog!also,if you like swimming and she hates the water,she can't have tha same joy of going to the beach!it's those little things that make a relationship last!

I agree with you.  The thing is, I don't think many people know who or what they really are, and so they can't recognize that in what should be their potential mates.  Hence they go with physical attraction because their bodies aren't as confused as their minds.

Ideally it would be based on the soul's decision, but how many people let their souls make their decisions? 

It's good to find someone who you have a lot in common with, is easy to talk to, and who has about the same intelligence level as yourself. Of course, physical chemistry is also important. Sex is a big part of most relationships, and the attraction has to be there.
