IT depends, sometimes the moment is so thin, so fragile that whatever you do will disrupt it, so just follow the happenings is the right thing to do.

Other times instinct should not be followd cause is only a subspecies of laziness that prevent you from *thinking* little more about what you are doing.

For me yes I do..For U..How right are your first instint??.. If U catch your self saying " I wish I followed my first instint"..Then by all means do from now on!!.. But if U are new to all this then U should try and keep track of how often U are right...Some people just are no good at this and then there are some that are..If U are a people watcher like me ..then after awhile U will be able to pick up things that others miss...Good Luck...Peace...

when it comes to a fire yes, when it come to iife decisions it is best to analyze what led to that instinct.  In others words no, if you have time to think about it.
