Why do people hate Paris Hilton

Why is Paris Hilton persecuted by the media and half the world?

I think everybody's just jealous of her because she is basically what every American girl wants to be. That's why she has so many fans and followers, and that's why she will always be loved, no matter what the masses do to her.

So half the world loves her and wishes her the best. Why does the other half hate her so much?

Hi,
People love to hate anyone who is: Rich / Good looking / famous / successful / smart. Yes it comes out from pure jealous (and jealous is a bad evel power). One can be a perfect person, however, as soon as one becomes: famous, rich, successfull etc peple get jealous, hate him and do all they can do to harm.... Kain killed his brother just because he was jealous.
So. I wish you to be: smart / good-looking / successful / rich etc.... (and still remain a: good, honest, loving person) and ignor all the people who hate you for that.....
