I work as a dock worker for a motor freight co. They do not pay overtime because they are are covered by the railway labor act. Is this true? I drive the forklift or do manual labor. This does not sound right to me.

I wouldn't think so, but most of my railroad experience I was forced to join the union and they paid overtime. The non-union railroad jobs I had paid overtime for one position and salary for another.
