Voterperson: Contact your unemployment office (sorry I don't live in New York), you may be able to collect another benefit year. These are very very bad economic times and many of us are unemployed, and the news is that we are not recovering as quickly as they like. Not your fault or mine why this country is in this mess. Your State has something set up for those who have exhausted all benefits, it maybe the United Way, Salvation Army. Don't you remember the years you worked you contributed to these funds!
Our government is not tracking those individuals who have been unemployed or fell off the system when all benefits ran out. We all know the numbers are much higher then 10.2%. Because you are not being counted! What a shame that we Americans are finding out our government is not being run as great as we thought. Who are these people working in government offices and holding public office?
