I had my gastric bypass surgery two weeks ago.  I am expericing hunger. I am wondering if anyone that has had this surgery have experience the same thing? Plus I also ate some meat small portions of course, but I feel like I really done something wrong.  Please help anyone.

Hello I'm waiting for my insurance to see if they will cover the surgery.. I'm really excited about this but I'd like to know if anyone has any regrets getting the gastric by pass surgery.

I had the sugery 4 years ago and I wasn't hungry for about 3 months. You have a lot of swelling inside after the surgery and you should really have went through the various phases of food{clearliquids,full liquids,etc.} before adding the meat. You could have really had dire consequences. I hope and pray that everything goes well. I did notice when I was hungry, it didn't take alot to satisfy the way it use to.

I had the surgery 4 years ago. I went from a size 28 to a 4 but the day after surgery I wished I had never done it. I had a successful surgery with no complications but I had a feeling that I should have never done it.If I could go back I would have changed other things in my life and dealt with my weight the right way. I hope you sincerely think about this. I am now having problems eating solid food and it has been 4 years! I took a medication and had a terrible reaction now I am in the middle of a crisis. Please know that when you have this surgery they sever the vagus nerve which controls swallowing and all sorts of other things in your body. PLEASE rethink your decision.

I had surgery on dec 3 2008 and i feel great but there are sometimes i am hungry what to do?

I had gastric by-pass surgery about 8 months ago, and now I'm having constant stomach pain.  Does anyone know if this is serious or will it go away?
