Pension Plans

What should one look for in a pension plan. I already have one but I wanted to know if I got the short end of the stick or perhaps I got lucky.

I'll search, while you Cool wait.

Hi.  I found a few resources for you from the Dept. of Labor, Kiplinger, and a pension consultant in the hopes that you will find all of the information here that you need to answer your question(s).

After you read the info here, please be sure to view the subtopics and select "Consumer Informaton on Pension Plans"

Here's Kiplinger's report:  Get The Right Pension

and finally, here is the <> Pension Plan Guidelines

Hi,

It really depends on what your profession was and where you live. There are many things to keep in mind when you look for a good pension plan. Things like benefits you are entitled to, number of years you need to work to be able to retire and other parameters.

I wouldn't dwell too much on the subject if you already have one.

I think that the most important part in a pension plan is  the health issue.  Did you get dental coverage as well?
