I heard that there is an alcoholic beverage (I don't know what kind), with whole pear in the bottle.
Look for Williams Pear Brandy : http://www.naturacroatica.com/proizvod_eng.aspx?ID=12
Pear brandy (eaux-de-vie) from France that contains a whole pear in the bottle. This Poire William is made by slowly fermenting crushed ripe Alsacian pears for up to six weeks and then distilling it to a relatively mild strength, which preserves its distinctive fragrant bouquet. Then, it is aged for a brief time in stainless steel or glass tanks to presesrve its clarity. How do they get the fruit in the bottle? They place empty bottles directly on the fruit trees where the fruit bud is made to grow inside each bottle.
