Go into your system tools, use disk cleanup and then disk defragment. If you are running Vista, you'll find them under the start menu, accessories, then system tools. You should not need more memory; if your computer is that new, you probably have enough available memory. If you'd like to check, you can go under accessories and look at system information and it will list how much memory is availabe. If you have a dial-up, it will be slower than a cable connection, but it is definitely cheaper. Hope all this helps.
