Should I pay repair charges to the apartment? I mean to ask is it necessary if we do not pay the repair charges? What happens if I do not pay the repair charges?
Most jurisdictions have the landlord pay for repairs, and are to directly pay for the repairs.
The only usual exception is when an tenant has directly caused the damages (excluding normal wear and tear). In these cases, who directly pays for the repair first varies. Some have the landlord pay it, who then collects the repair money from the tenant. Some have the tenant pay it directly.
I wanted to know whether the rental office can take me to court if I do not pay repair charges? Also is there anything like residential history? Does it have an affect on my renting of future apts?
