What to pay to a New York Mohel?

Hi friends, I want a female mohel and I am based in New York. Although I am unable to decide what should I pay to her....
please help..........

Traditionally, a mohel is a Jewish MAN. It is he who performs the bris (circumcision ceremony).

(I believe Orthodox Jews do not accept female mohels, although Reform Jews certify females as well as males.)

The mohel may very well have a standard price range, you might inquire as to the usual charge when you inquire as to her availability.

P.S. A bris is usually performed on an infant, although it is possible to have it done on an adult. If you are the one she will be circumcising, please be sure to notify her of that before she agrees to perform the ceremony.
