Which pattern is suitable for the human eye?

I am planning on painting my bedroom in a radical way. What do I mean by radical, well I was thinking on either zebra like stripes or  screaming white dots on a red background. My question is which pattern is suitable for the human eye and wont get me and my guests dizzy after spending a long time in my room?

neither is easy on the eye. thats why people tend to have less "radical" designs on their walls.
