These are the number of days after intake of a drug that an individual would be expected to excrete detectable levels of drug metabolite in his or her urine. There will be variances in time limits due to factors such as dosage, overall frequency of use, liquid consumption, and individual metabolic characteristics. Labs take all that into account when a person’s results are on the edge of what’s considered a “dirty”. They could also go the other way when they’re making their reports. For you, that could be a good thing, or a not so good thing, but the point is for you to keep that in mind should things not go well. Because if your results come back dirty, but it was borderline, I believe you have the right to have those results confirmed, which buy’s you a little time to get things straight. It will stress you out, but at least you’ll still be in the game.
