Greetings fellow prospector.
I wish I could say I'd be there in a minute to join you in mining your claim. The local gold mine near here runs a full 3 shift day to get gold that only yields .10 OZ per ton and makes a hefty profit. To see that your claim assayed at .621 means they would love to take your claim from you. If your claim is in Colorado I would truly consider joining you for at least a couple days of digging to see what we could find. Is your claim lode gold or are you finding loose gold? All of the claims I have are placer claims and were originally mined by dredge for a yield of .10 OZ per cubic yard. The old dredge barges would move thousands of tons of dirt in no time at all, and would leave behind a lot of gold nuggets because they were looking for nuggets over 1/2 inch in size, and anything smaller was pretty much waste to them. Thanks to that, we are still finding a lot of gold in their tailing piles and ocassionaly we find a pocket they never worked. The actual claims we have were worked by 2 guys using only a single bucket drag line, so they only mined here and there looking for hot spots. They missed a lot of hot spots. The dredge barges stopped downstream from our claims by about 1/4 mile so we are still able to find major pockets of gold.
How large is your claim?
