RE: Mumbai-paris flight carry on allowance..how many ...

Hi,
These days the Airlines are very strict about the permitted weight.
1.  You are allowed to send
one suitcase up to 20 k"g.
2.  Normally they won't say
     anything if it weights up
to 22 k"g (but it is not a
     rule !).
3.  Above it they'll charge you
     heavily for the extraweight.
4.  You are accpected to use a
     "normal" size suitcase (see
      dimentions on the site).
5.  In any case they won't
     accept any suitcase over
     30 k"g..... and might not
     accept suitcases that does
     not cope with those normal
     dimensions.
6.  A carry-on baggage should
be up to 8 K"g (normally
     they'll accept up to 9-10 K"g)
and should be of the required
     dimensions (as the "familiar"
     ones you can see frequently).
You are limitted to only 1
     carry-on suitcase.
7.  Yes, you can carry (separately
a laptop bag with a laptop in
     and nothing else...).
8.  In your carry-on bag you
     can put anything that is
     sharp (e.g: knife, nail cutter,
     seizors....) and no liquids
     (of any kind).
Best regards,
