My unmarried daughter has 4 year old son and would like to relocate out of state from her son's father can he stop her?

Hi I,m Mark from england, no he doesn,t have a leg to stand on. If she chose to move to mars she could, although this may cause issues about access visits. She doesn,t have to give a reason, but she must be careful, unless she has a genuine reason she must make arrangements with the partner so he can see the child regularly for the sake of the child. If she is moving out of spite or for no apparent reason then he may apply to the courts for a Parental Responsability and Access order, which legally binds her to access and issues regarding the child being shared(although the mother has a slightly greater advantage) believe me this takes time and money, on the back of the parents dragging each other through the dirt to try and discredit each other, without actually realising its the child that matters, and the judges WILL pick up on this. If there is an issue of domestic violence or phsical abuse towards the child or mother, tell her to seek a restraining order and supervised vists if he wants to see the child for safety. It gets mentally, physically, financially, emotionally draining, and nasty. Tell them to agree whats best for the child before it gets to that stage, even if they can,t stand the sight of each other, don,t have the child growing up seeing them arguing all the time. I took my ex to court and I,m just coming to the end of a year long battle with my ex, and ended up with less access than I had before!!! Crazy, hope it goes well. Mark, England
