Who is your favorite rapper?

I don't listen to rap often, but I like the Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprisy.

I'm not sure many people know about him, because he was active quite a while ago, but if you're into history of music, try checking Coke La Rock.

He was a major rapper in the seventies, and if you can get your hands on some of his music, the experience in my opinion is well worth the effort. 

Of the more contemporary musicians, I like the women, like Missy Elliot and Foxy Brown. 

My favorite has always and will always be 2pac.  He was one of the first rappers to be honest and talk about real-world problems such as youngsters in gangs, drugs, rape, poverty, lack of true civil-rights, etc.  Words that he wrote still resonate today, such as "We aint ready to see a black president...".  We have a black person running for office today, and is America ready for this, or is there really still too much racism to allow that to happen.  Sorry for going on and on, but if you listen to 2pac's music, it makes you want to get up and change the world.  That is why I love him.
