Can I use oil based lacquer over water based paint on a piece of furniture?

Lacquer is not an oil based product Lacquer thinner will destroy almost anything that it hits.
What piece of furniture is this?

Yes you can spray lacquer over water base paint ,i am a kitchen cabinet refinisher and last week painted white lacquer over water base paint and then i stained it with oil base stain then sprayed a clear lacquer over it .

But lacquer is not oil base
