Is page rank still important?

Is any one aware if google page rank still holds importance in terms of SEO?

Web pages need some PageRank behind them in order to remain in the Google index so yes, it's still important if you want your pages to remain indexed.

Yes it is still important and it is related to the amount of quality links that you have pointing to your website.  If you keep building links from websites that have a decent pagerank, then your site will have pagerank.  It is still a major part of the seo and ranking process.
