For school this year, I want to get a designer backpack/messenger bag for a pretty good price( my mom won't pay for something too expensive). Could you recommend any well-known brands and maybe a website for me?

Jansport makes some pretty nice backpacks and they are very reasonabley priced. I believe you should be able to find them in stores near you, since it is a very popular brand, but here is website that you can find them as well.

Hi, I think that you should learn to live within your means. If your mom can't afford any designer stuff, use whatever is available. When you have your own job, you can have whatever you like.
Check a thrift store or browse flea markets/garage sales in affluent neighborhoods. You'd be surprised how many designer finds you'll find for a bargain price.
