Love is the battery of life....

RE: How do you overcome a drinking problem?

Hi,

The best way is to convince yourself to do it (stop drinking).  I was a heavy chain smoker.  I tried all kinds of ways to stop smoking, and failed in all.  One day I decided to stop smoking and from that very day I stopped.  I have to admit that from time to time I am still craving for a cigarret, but I'll never fall to it again.  No one believed I'll be able to quite and I did.  So, be strong, take a brave decision, and don't drink, not even a zip..... You'll save yourself !.  The key is in your hand, and that's the one and only key !.  Ask your friend / family to back you and go do it !.  If I managed to stop smoking anyone can stop his bad habbits.
Best regards,

RE: How do you overcome a drinking problem?

Thanks Oron! I believe this is truly the only way to quit anything. Just quit. I was thinking someone was going to tell me to join a group or something, but really, it is just a question.

I asked it because I know someone who is still young (35), and he drinks at least 2 times a week (about 10-20 beers a sitting). He likes to party, and I don't like when he abuses alcohol. There was one time when i found a bottle of wild turkey in the garage, but he says he does not do that all the time. I worry about him, but i guess there is nothing i can do about it. he has to want to do it. it has to be him to quit... not me just complaining about it.

Biofuels Could Make Global Warming Worse Of course, this assumes that people have the capability to cause/correct global warming: “Oops, Biofuels Actually Make Global Warming Worse …“ One study out of Princeton found that “over 30 years, use of traditional corn-based ethanol would produce twice as much greenhouse gas emissions as regular gasoline” in part due to the removal of trees that help reduce carbon. Researcher Tim Searchinger estimated “it would take 167 years before biofuel would stop contributing to climate change.” The

But I Believe The World Is Burning To The Ground. Oh Well I Guess We ... Devil’s has had a busy, active day…and all the while his minions (parents) have continued displaying their ongoing disgust with him. Yeah…it’s good to have things back to normal again in the Devil-verse. This morning, again, I went swimming. This morning, again, I didn’t feel like going and really wasn’t motivated enough…but having watched The Biggest Loser last night…I don’t think I could have lived with myself if I swam anything less than 1000m. I ended up doing a personal best of 1100m. Whi
