The way I understand Revelation 12:13, the word "They" is referring to those who beleve in Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God... (Christians). *If you look closely throughout the New Testament, Jesus Christ is called "The Lamb of God." *Christians are sanctified, meaning; to make holy, consecrate. To purify or free from sin through the blood of Christ, Him dying for us so we can live.. as He did, in order to glorify God.
Here, I understand Revelation 17:9 and 18:4 as God simply talking about the result of SIN. Those that turned their back on the Truth and followed the great seduction of satans world. Those who took no authority over all the temptations, who rationalized and fought for their own wisdom and power in this world far removed from God and the truth of His Son Jesus Christ. They obviously have no place with God, His Son, or His people do they.

Nice Asha; however the 17:9 0f revelation is talking about the woman who sitteth on the seven mountains, {and this is the wisdom}. the woman is a church, the church's are referred as a woman: and the church that sits on the seven mountains is the seven hills of Rome, and the catholic church that is known as the holy roman catholic church! and as the time of the end is ever closer the holy GHOST WILL BE CALLING FOR THOSE people to come out of Her{ the church}. If you will research the history of that church you will be amazed at the evil she has done of course I will be shouted at for this saying, but it is true; and if you will go back at verse 8; of the same chapter, you will see something about the beast that "was ", and is not: and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit! this beast is Germany who was until defeated, and with the plans of if defeated they will do this{ go under ground} and this they did} and with the help of the pope: Thus they "was" and then they "are not" and then they will rise once again, and they are at this time bearing there ugly head that will lead to the return of Jesus christ; and at that time they will be sent in to perdition! can you see it???
Also Asha; this is the church that sits on the seven hills of Rome, and she is the woman that will sit on the beast and the beast is germany and the woman is the head of the church, the pope.
I agree, there are many problems with organized religion and of course paganism! The history of the Roman Catholics would send any saint running!
I want you to know, that while God indeed may be speaking directly of a particular Church and religion in these scriptures.. many many hypocrites and blind followers are going down, catholic or not. That's why I personally don't seek out ways to point my finger at one specific thing or another in the way I understand God's Word, I'm always in search of the big picture, the final answer... and I know that God uses us in different ways to get His point accross when those who can hear are ready.
