what is the oldest age that you have heard that a girl starts her period

i have 4 daughters ages 16 thru 3, 14,11,my 14 year old is very active in sports she has played basketball since she was 5 years old. now she is worried cause she hasnet started her menstral cycle yet . when is the age that she , or i should be worried about her not starting?  all woman get there period right ?

16 is the oldest age that I have heard that a girl starts her period. Girls who live in warmer climate tend to have periods sooner than those living in colder climate.

I wouldn't be concerned yet.  My sis was 16 and very active also.  Athletic girls can tend to start later.
