Looking for old romance novel and have no clue The name or who wrote it!

Ok,I don't know if you can help with this but here goes! I am Looking for to very old romance novels and I have no clue who wrote them or the names of them! 1st book : It would have to be 10 yrs old or older..In this book there is a white man who was taken by Indians and raised as one.later he marries a white woman and she has to give birth in a covered hole because white solider's are looking for them. I am pretty sure his name was (Joe)     2nd book: I know even less about this book...It is another Indian romance..all I can tell you about this one is..a Indian takes a white captive they fall In love and are married(I know that happens in them all) but then she is stolen by the tribes while pregnant and is raped then   miscarried..they also cut her foot so she cannot run away...Sorry I know this is a hard one! But thanks for trying!Foot in mouth

You're right.   this is tough..but I did a  search and came up with Karen Kay whoi is an authentic American Indian romance writer.  Maybe that will give you a  beginning.
