The law works but the system needs changed, We all abide by the law but sometime it failes us. The same with the goverment. God bless the USA, Brign our troops HOME safely, To the men who did not get the credit they deserve, MAY GOD WATCH OVER OUR SERVICE MEN.

According to law and i must think Texas you must be at least 18 years of age but some laws very from state to state.Yes she need consent to move out if she is not 18 years old.

I do not know the age in Texas, but I do know the actual age of consent is eighteen years old. You have the best of two worlds and you want to move our of your parents home and worry about "rent, electric, water, insurances, and any other cost?" I think, young lady, that you and your friend should stay with your folks until you have a decent job and can support yourself. Michael Joel Held

Your friend should not move out of the house, she apparently quit school and must go back so she does not have to depend on anyone, she can get a pell grant if no money is there. Life is too short and when she finds her niche,"what she wants to be" your friend will never have to depend on any man whats so ever! Then she can have her own apt. Or house! A year or two and she will be on her own anyway & have a great life! Let me know.
