We have an old chair that does not have springs in the seat. It goes flat when you sit and pops back up when you stand. How old would this chair be?
without knowing the style or seeing a picture it really hard to tell, provide more details and then maybe u can get an accurate age

Without seeing a photo of your chair it is quite difficult to gage, but what I've done is to search the website for non spring antique chairs for you, and you can click on the word "view" beneath each chair to see if the one you have is similar or like the chairs in one of the photo. History regarding the age is also given and a price as to its value today. Hopefully your chair is photographed in the web page.
