as an RN I cannot believe that people are still becoming LPN. They are being phased out many hospitals will not hire LPN . A nickname is Little Paid Nurse. If you want to work in nursing homes or MD offices for next to nothing then go for it I almost did and went for my RN instead compare making 16 an hour to over 40 an hour..hmmm hard choice
