What about non tanners?

If you don't lay in the sun tanning yourself, just in and out of the car, and so you don't get great tan's like the beautiful people, does this MC1R get kicked on anyway? At what age does this begin to show up, if you are likely to get it?

Thanks, Rochester, as I am dark haired and dark eyed, but rather light skinned, so I shall make a point of having a skin screening from now on added onto my yearly physicals. Cool Jeanne
