If there is such a warrent the police will come to pick him up the moment he shows his face at your doorstep.

If this is a non custodial parent you should not even let yourself be around him cause of the issue with the police. You don't know at what time things could get iut of hand.YOU shouldn't let your kid be involve with  a matter like this.YOU should tell the non-custodial parent that you are thinking about the kid and it is best that he doesn't come around till this matter is tooktn care of with the police.YOU don't want your kid ofr yourself to get hurt or have guns pulled out on you cause of him. That could hurt your child more than not seeing him around for a sometime. This is a serious matter and you should really think about your kid first. What would the kid father day if he was around?
