i have an unused 3 phone it's a nokia but its still locked to 3 how can i unlock it. i want to change to optus
I have had a few phones unlocked. You will need to take it to a dealer. You can also talk to the provider you have now (AT&T, Sprint or another) and see how much they charge to unlock your phone. It usually will be cheaper to take it to a dealer who deals with many providers (and you can bargain with them). A few things to keep in mind: not all phones can be unlocked, if you plan to use this abroad make sure that the phone is on the same frequency of that country (ask the dealer about this), and don't let them rip you off (should cost about 25$ depending on where you live).

I searched for the unlock codes but i cannot get it, i found the unlock codes for GSM mobiles from http://www.mobileunlocksolutions.com/
