If I were you, I'd just order one from France or Germany.  It's annoying that no one's saying when it's released in the UK.

I agree. i have searched high a low for a release date for the UK. Even asked sales staff in shops and they either have no idea what im asking or can not give me a concrete release date. I only know that it is due for release by the end of the year (i hope). and that the ks20.lgmobile.com site seems to suggest that it will be getting released in the UK.

How does it work to order something from France?  Do you have to pay a lot to get to get it into the country, or it's not a problem?

I dont really know. I know there is no point getting it on contract from either france or germany for obvious reasons. I have seen it on the sfr.fr site and i think the vodafone germany site. if you search these in google and then use their translate button you can view the pages in english. These may post to the UK if you can buy it sim free. Why not try orange france/germany too. The only other way would be to buy it off ebay france/germany and pay the postage.

OK!!! Its been a while since my first post. But i still have heard nothing about the UK release of the LG KS20! I wish LG would just say yes or no to if the KS20 will be getting released at all in the UK. I have heard that it will be getting released in Asia in Feb, so im hoping that this will also be the same time for the UK release. If anyone can shed some light on this subject, it would be greatly appreciated. Even if it is to let me know that the phone will not be making an appearance in the UK. At least i could move on and settle for something less appealing.

OK, so an update on the situation and im afraid it isnt a good one. The LgKS20 as not been released worldwide after its original launch in france and germany. However, here's the kicker, it looks like the UK wont be seeing it. After visiting the offcial LGKS20 website (http://ks20.lgmobile.com/) i noticed that you can now select all the countries, not just france and germany. However, the UK link has gone all together. I hope this doesnt mean that the fallout between Vodafone and LG in the UK, means that we are going to miss out on one of the most interesting Windows Mobiles to date. If anyone has new information on this subject, or any information at all. It would be greatly appreciatied.

some uk sites ca let u preorder this handset sim free, and I was told it would be in stock on the 18th feb so fingers crossed, I hope so coz I love this phone (:
