Where were you when you learned about the attacks on the United States on September 11, 2001?

Do not dwell on the past, nor worry about the future, for tomorrow may not be there. Live today to the fullest, and enjoy life!

I was working at my job,in Las Vegas,NV.I did not get a chance to watch much of the news, until I got home. By then, total devastation had already occured.I recall saying what everybody else said-"WOW,looks like something from out of a movie!"

I was in my classroom teaching my children the significance of 911 and the correlation to the day's date. Then suddenly a colleague came into the classroom and told me to turn on the television to view the news. As we watched we saw the second plane hit and we (students and I) were awe struck at what we had just witnessed. We kept the news on all day and watched as the horrific events unfolded literally right before our eyes. I'm sure it will be a day I'll never forget.

I was in my high school history class... we watched the news in school before being sent home.

When the first plane hit, I was at home eating breakfast, but I assumed that it was just an accident.  I learned that it was a terrorist attack from a law school classmate when I was studying in the student lounge before my 10am class.

I just happened to turn on the morning news that day, and the first plane had already hit. I went to work (in an office on a university campus) and we kept the radio tuned to the news the whole day. If I remember correctly, our campus even held a vigil a couple of days later. I was in utter disbelief for about a week, I think.

I was at work when we first heard about it. I left home, thinking this was no big deal and when arrived I was just in time to see the first building collapsing.

This is a picture I will never forget. But now when I reflect on it everything that happened since I find myself thinkin
