I'm not sure about 2007, but the best news of 2008 will be (I hope) the induction of a new democratic president, to replace the putz that's in office now.

I don't know the best news but I'd have to say the worst news of 2007 was the Virigina Tech massacre. I think it's harder to choose the best news than it is the worst. I only hope 2008 is better.

I have to agree with Domino. All the bad has overshadowed this past year that I honestly cannot remember one good thing that happened.
