Im in a new Indie acoustic duet how do i get noticed?

Try playing at a party or at a community event, you never know, some people might tell their friends who might tell their friends and on and on and on. maybe it'll get around!

I would play in bars or  karoke bars make flyers and pass them out. I live in seattle,washington and asumming rock stars to be play at the seattle center and hot spots downtown also @ parks that has events goin on or see if u could set somthing up @ local fairs.U first have make small steps to get noticed u might not get paid alot if at all until u get known. Best luck to u both. The first move is usually the longest and hardest but w/ hard work & determination u could conquer all that u set ur mind 2 best of luck p.S. Try to record some of your songs and post it along with your band's profile on multiply, friendster, and (gasp) myspace. Use the internet to your advantage!

 Most of all, be as original as you can be!!! Why else would people want to listen to you and see you if you don't have anything different to offer, right?
